Urgent plan for renovation of roofs
Development of the work
Complete renovation of the roof of the two canopies on top of the Paint Shop’s roof to protect air extraction equipment. The new roof is formed by HDX corrugated steel sheet, insulation layer and Icopal waterproofing membrane on top to protect the sheet from the corrosive elements coming from the chimneys at the roof.
Additionally all the opening at the chimneys to take samples are renewed with new elements in stainless steel and in the position indicated by the applicable regulations of sampling.
Special conditions to consider:
- The chimneys are in operation during the construction, it is necessary to protect the new sheet until the installation of the insulation and the protective membrane
- Around the existing platforms is necessary to take special care in the installation due to the limited space.
