Tunnel extension on the Assembly Shop's roof

In Ford’s Factory in Almussafes, the EXTENSION OF THE CARRIERS TUNNEL ON THE ASSEMBLY SHOP has been carried out.

These works are located between the bays S5 and U6.

The works carried out by ARIN consisted of:

• Design of a foundation system by micro-piles to avoid any interference with the building’s columns
• Design of the steel structure for the tunnel extension
• Construction management
• Training of the operators carrying out the assembly works, including a previous assembly training to enhance the operability with the helicopter
• Final inspection of the works, developing index cards with the problems detected
