Valencia Joaquin Sorolla - Alta Velocidad

During the construction of the provisional AVE station in Valencia (Estación Valencia Joaquín Sorolla – Alta Velocidad) at the request of the construction company, Aldesa Construcciones, S.A., acoustic tests were carried out on offices and commercial premises to check the insulation of the enclosures against environmental airborne noise, generated by the movement of trains and the ordinary hustle and bustle of passengers and workers in the station itself.

To determine the environmental noise levels of the station, as it was not yet in operation, measurements were taken at Valencia’s Estación del Norte.
